What would jesus say about our church? Love one another! - Revelation 2:1-7

The Praise and the Problem... Jesus praised the church in Ephesus for their intolerance of false teaching and their hatred of sin amidst a pluralistic society. However, He criticized them for having abandoned the heartfelt love they once had for one another and the lost world around them.

The Threat... Jesus mad very clear that the church in Ephesus would cease to exist if they continued down the road of not loving. We cannot rightly represent the Lord of love when we lack it (John 13:35).

The Solution... Jesus called His church to remember their former deeds of love, to repent of their loveless pride, and to repeat the works they did at first.
