Bible Reading
God’s Word is a treasure to be cherished deeply and studied
diligently (Proverbs 2:1-8). By the power of the Holy Spirit,
the pages of Scripture “give the light of the knowledge of the glory
of God in the face of Jesus Christ” (2 Corinthians 4:6).

At Baxter, we seek to read and treasure God’s Word because we long to know and love God more. Our desire to be more like Jesus and
to love others faithfully compels us to study the Scriptures,
both individually and corporately.

For these reasons, we follow an annual Bible reading plan that helps us cling to God’s Word every day. This reading calendar includes
a prayer guide to help us pray God’s Word and pray for each other
as a church body.
(We follow the "Discipleship Journal Bible Reading Plan" produced by the Navigators.)
