December 20, 2025 - Revelation 15-18

One of my briefest of Daily Words:  The seven bowls of God's wrath, the prostitute Babylon, the kings, and the war against the Lamb.  “They will make war on the Lamb, and the Lamb will conquer them, for he is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those with him are called and chosen and faithful” (17:14).  Not to be too flippant here, but it’s good to be on the winning side!  More on that, tomorrow, with the closing chapters of Revelation.  And what a closing it it!

O ruler of the universe,

Lord God, great deeds are they

that you have done,

surpassing human understanding.

Your ways are ways

of righteousness and truth,

O King of all the ages.

Who can fail to do you homage, Lord,

and sing the praises of your Name?

for you only are the Holy One.

All nations will draw near

and fall down before you,

because your just and holy works
