September 10, 2026 - Mark 5-6
“A woman who had had a hemorrhage for twelve years, and had endured much at the hands of many physicians, and had spent all that she had and was not helped at all, but rather had grown worse-- after hearing about Jesus, she came up in the crowd behind Him and touched His cloak. For she thought, ‘If I just touch His garments, I will get well.’ Immediately the flow of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of her affliction” (5:25-29).
After all those years . . . Jesus! Yep, when at the end of our ropes, when no one else has any answers, when all our efforts have proven fruitless, there is Jesus!
In his hometown, they asked: “Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, and brother of James and Joses and Judas and Simon?” (6:3) Oh yeah, that’s him, but he is so much more!
Oh, it is Jesus
Oh, it is Jesus
It’s Jesus in my soul
For I have touched the hem of His garment
And His blood has made me whole
Oh, it is Jesus
Oh, it is Jesus
It’s Jesus, sweet Jesus in my soul
For I have touched the hem of His garment
Touched the hem of His garment
And His blood has
Made me whole. –Andrae Crouch (2001)
